2014 Hall of Fame

For more than 35 years, Working In Neighborhoods’ comprehensive approach has empowered people through education to make informed choices, bringing vitality to our communities. It is foundational and generational. It is the very reason we seek to invest in people and rebuild our neighborhoods.

WIN acknowledges the longstanding strategic partnerships built along the way, and through foresight and belief in our mission, our partners enabled us to create innovative programs; a colorfully woven tapestry filled with hope and opportunity – The American Dream – a better way of life for all people.

Each year for nearly a decade, the Hall of Fame has been our way of saying thank you and demonstrating how truly grateful we are to those who work in concert with us, who serve when the need presents itself, and whose vision paves the way for a change. Thank you, Mercy Health.

In recognition of leadership and excellence, WIN is pleased to announce Dr. Yousuf J. Ahmad, Market President and CEO of Mercy Health, as a recipient of the 2014 Hall of Fame Award. His vision in healthcare is transforming the delivery and implementation of primary and specialty care in our communities while improving quality of life through health education and resources to prevent treatable illnesses. There are more accomplishments to come as Dr. Ahmad’s work is not finished.

On November 11, 2014, we are privileged to honor such outstanding leadership and excellence at our signature event. Standing alongside Dr. Ahmad as the Healthcare Initiatives recipient will be his fellow nominees: Steve Melink – Green Initiatives, Chip and Jan Malley – Children’s Initiatives, and Brewster Rhoads – Community Initiatives. Honorees and guests will walk the red carpet for a memorable evening. Past inductees will introduce the honorees and present the awards in their respective categories.
